In November, 2022, Sundial Global Trade was granted an exclusive license from the Nigerian Ports Authority as an Export Processing Terminal. This enables Sundial Global Trade to provide efficient export processing services as well as priority access in the ports. Exporters will be able to conduct all their cargo consolidation, quality control, clearance and logistics services through the Sundial facility and will gain the competitive edge in international trade. This status is fully supported and endorsed by the Nigeria Export Promotions Council (NEPC), Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), and other key stakeholders in the export value chain. It is also one of the pillars targettted by the CBN to boost repatriation of over $200billion through export proceeds over the next 5 years (a scheme known as RT200 launched by the CBN).
